The Learning Commons - Vancouver Talmud Torah

We are thrilled to open the doors of our beautiful new Learning Commons to our VTT school community. The Learning Commons is a physical and virtual space where educators, teachers and students can collaborate to achieve our learning goals. The goal is to drive innovative teaching and learning throughout our school. As the heart and hub of our school, we encourage you to come visit us often! We look forward to a wonderful year of learning!

Library Technician:

We are happy to welcome back Michal Sitbon who will be assuming the role of Library Technician.

Hours of Operation:

The Learning Commons is open from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:20 pm.  It is open after school everyday Monday-Thursday until 4:30. Students in Kindergarten through Grade 7 are welcome to come read, do homework, socialize and play games during this time.

Library Materials:

Students are encouraged to check out books on a weekly basis as long as their other library books have been returned or renewed. Parents and students may borrow up to three books at a time for up to two weeks.

A charge will be made for any book that is lost or damaged. Students are responsible for any library books that they have checked out and will be charged for any books they fail to return.

Parent Volunteers:

We are always looking for parent volunteers who are able to help assist us in shelving books, as well as labeling and processing new books. Please contact Michal if you wish to help out:
